3 Injured In Shooting At Church Holiday Party In Vineland

VINELAND, NJ (CBS) – Three people were taken to the hospital after an argument at a party in South Jersey escalated into a shooting.

Police say the argument began at a "Christmas party" at a Greek Orthodox Church of St. Anthony at 310 W Wheat Road. Around 1:17 a.m. on Dec. 26th, one person was shot inside, and two others were shot in the parking lot outside.

Two people were flown to Cooper Medical Center, while another was treated at Regional Medical Center. There is no word on their conditions.

A spokesperson from St. Anthony said the hall, where the incident occurred, had been rented out to a group and had nothing to do with the church or it's parishioners. The spokesperson said the church will add more screenings on who is allowed to rent their hall and add more security.

Police have identified a person of interest who they believe was the lone shooter. Investigators say the suspect left the scene in a dark colored SUV.

The victims were identified as Domonique Hines, 25, Felicia Cannon, 18 and Shykeem Boyd, 27. All victims are in stable condition or have been released from the hospital, says officials.

Police haven't made any arrests, but Vineland Crime Stoppers (856-691-0345) is offering up to $1,000.00 reward for information regarding this investigation.
