The Philadelphia Orchestra’s New Year’s Eve program will bring it all together, but for Juliette Kang, the first associate concertmaster and nationally renowned violinist, the thrill is the conductor, Yannik Nézet-Séguin.
“Yannick, in particular, is so energetic, so welcoming and so embracing to everyone in the orchestra, as well as all the music. I think for the audience it’s a little bit like watching a dancer, in a way…Yannick, himself, is the most graceful, amazingly musical conductor,” Kang says.
