By Tim Jimenez

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Many residents in the Delaware Valley are hitting the air, roadways and rails for their holiday trips.

At this time of year, many people look forward to a chance to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, like with this local student Ejomo.

“Heading to Baltimore then heading to Alabama. Excited to go home and take a break from medical school.”

She’s far from her Alabama hometown, but is thrilled to be seeing those she her family.

“My dad, my new nephew, who was born two days before Thanksgiving; my brother and my sister.”

And Kathy from the Poconos is looking forward to meeting the new little one in her life in Boston born this past Thursday.

“Yes it’s a nice gift. I’m looking forward to meeting my first grand daughter.”
