KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (CBS) – Time is running out to check off the important people on your Christmas list.
Malls were packed with people Friday, some finishing up their shopping while the procrastinators were just beginning.
If you are just getting started, you’re not alone. Procrastinators make up a large portion of holiday sales and retailers know that, so many have extended their hours to accommodate.
Shoppers at the King of Prussia Mall were armed with their maps, making a plan of attack.
“I don’t stress out too much about it,” this shopper said. “I know what I want. I go to the store. I get what I need, in-and-out.”
From toys to clothes and gift cards, everyone has last minute items they need and some may be starting at the top of their list. Statistics show one in three people put off shopping until the last week.
The King of Prussia Mall closes Monday at 6 p.m. so if you’re not done by then, you’re out of luck.
