PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The NHL is still mired in a lockout, without an end in sight. A few Flyers, and former Flyers players, have stumbled on to what may the start of another career … movie stars.

Scott Hartnell, Matt Carle, James Van Riemsdyk and Ian LaPerriere all star in a scene in the new movie This Is 40. Both Hartnell and LaPerriere have lines in the scene.

It would seem that this was all filmed prior to the lockout, but it’s more fun to make pretend this is a career option.

The movie, which stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, opens December 21st.
