Police: Tips From Citizens In Gloucester Township Lead To Burglary Arrests

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – Police in Gloucester Township say citizens' tips helped them to locate and arrest two suspects wanted for robbery.

On Tuesday, Dec. 18 around 5:15 a.m., police responded to the Lakeview Apartments for reports of two suspicious males inside a vehicle. Officers who were checking the area were unable to locate anyone at the time.

About an hour later, Gloucester Township police received a second call reporting subjects inside a vacant apartment. Officials were able to locate the men, and they also found a stolen car stereo in the suspects' possession.

Later, a vehicle with a missing stereo was located in the area.

The suspects, 21-year-old Anthony Laino of Glassboro and 19-year-old Ryan Zsirai of Deptford, were arrested and charged with burglary, theft and related charges. They remain in custody at Camden County Jail.
