Senior Vice President for Communications Jan Rothschild says the events are as varied as collection.
“We thought it would be important to really reflect the collection of the Barnes Foundation, which is art from around the world. Some Fridays it’s jazz, some Fridays it’s Latin…early in the year, we’re having an evening of Chinese performance. The events happen everywhere — we try to activate the whole building. Every Friday night will be a new experience for our visitors,” Rothschild explains.
The website offers a wealth of information — you can see a list of events, browse the collection, and even download an audio guide.
