6:11 am: In regards to fiscal cliff, republicans are becoming frustrated that House Speaker John Boehner is not making the right moves to solve the probem. Could a new speaker be elected in January?

6:41 am:  Barbara Walters asked NJ Gov. Chris Christie about his weight on her "10 Most Fascinating People" program. Is Christie's weight really a problem that would prevent him from running for president? Some of the people on her list do not make sense. What did you think of the list?

7:28 am: An unpaid intern for Senator Bob Menendez was discovered to be a registered sex offender and undocumented citizen. The intern, Luis Abrahan Sanchez Zavaleta, was arrested by immigration officials on Dec. 6.

 7:41 am: Chris talks to Gallup Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Frank Newport, about his book, "God is Alive and Well." The book included bold predictions for the future of religion in America with a compelling review of why religion may be a growth industry in the years ahead, rather than a relic of the past.
