PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - You can now fight a parking ticket online.
The City of Philadelphia has launched a new website which allows individuals to appeal parking tickets online that will include the ability to upload documents in support of an appeal, as well as rules of the appeals process.
The new website also puts into operation changes to the Traffic Code enacted earlier this year.
The website can be accessed at philapark.org/violations. It was launched in cooperation with the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
The city’s director of the Bureau of Administrative Adjudication, Jeremiah Connors, says the site will allow citizens a clearer guide to the process and another opportunity to appeal without appearing in person.
