PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A Philadelphia judge has dismissed all claims against KYW-TV and CBS brought by former CBS 3 anchor Alycia Lane.
Lane sued after the station released her from her contract in January of 2008.
CBS issued a statement: “We are very pleased with the court’s decision to dismiss all of Alycia Lane’s claims against KYW-TV and CBS.”
Some of lane’s claims against her former co-anchor Larry Mendte are still pending. She sued him after it was revealed he accessed her email accounts. He later pleaded guilty to a felony charge of computer tampering for illegally accessing thousands of Lane’s personal e-mails and then leaking damaging information to news media outlets.
