PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The most popular social network is reworking its privacy settings…again.
Now, your Facebook privacy settings — which previously lived in several different menus — will be organized under one roof, called “Privacy Shortcuts.”
The big change is a refreshed “Activity Log.” The log that displays literally everything you’ve ever done on Facebook is now easier to browse. There’s a chronological Timeline search on the right side, which will make jumping around through your past easier.
The new design also allows you to make changes as a group — such as untagging yourself from a bunch of photos at once, or deleting multiple status updates.
Your ability to remove yourself from Facebook search is going away, but the change won’t allow anyone to access your information who wouldn’t have been able to before.
