PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — Damion Lee scored 13 of his 21 points in the second half as Drexel rallied for a 64-57 nonconference victory over Princeton on Saturday.
Lee’s 3-pointer with 2:04 remaining broke a 57-57 tie and put the Dragons (3-6) ahead to stay.
After Ian Hummer, Clay Wilson and T.J. Bray all missed shots for the Tigers (3-5), two free throws by Daryl McCoy increased Drexel’s lead to five points, 62-57, with 18 seconds left.
The Dragons shot 63.2 percent (12 of 19) in the second half, including all three tries from 3-point range, after shooting 40 percent (10 of 25) in the first. They trailed 32-25 at halftime.
Hummer scored 14 of his 19 points for Princeton in the first half and moved into 10th place on the Tigers’ career scoring list with 1,290 points.
Dartaye Ruffin added 12 points for Drexel, and Wilson had 12 for Princeton.
