Police In Bucks County Searching For Purse Snatcher
WARMINSTER, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Bucks County are investigating a robbery that happened in a store parking lot Thursday afternoon.
Police were called out to a parking lot in front of the A.C. Moore Store on Street Road in Warminster following reports of a purse snatcher.
The suspect, described as a white male, in his early twenties, snatched the purse from an elderly woman who was with her husband.
The suspect fled north on foot in the area of Street and Norristown roads.
Police, along with a K-9 unit from Abington Police Department conducted a search of the area. As a precaution, nearby Log College Middle School and Willow Dale
Elementary School were asked to keep students inside the building during the search.
Police say the suspect was wearing a dark jacket, jeans, a wool hat and had a light beard. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
