Temperatures in the Delaware Valley soared into the upper 60s this afternoon and it feels more like spring than December.
It was a beautiful Monday and if you liked today, you will also enjoy tomorrow as temperatures once again climb into the upper 60s.
The record was broken in Georgetown, DE today when the mercury hit 71 degrees and Wilmington, DE tied their record of 68 degrees.
Philadelphia fell just one degree shy of their record of 68 degrees which is the forecasted high temperature in the city on Tuesday. All in all, it was a very mild day across the region as temperatures ranged 15-20 degrees above their seasonal averages.
Don’t expect the mild weather to last for too long. A cold front marching across the country will bring big changes later this week. In fact, temperatures on Thursday will not get out of the 40s so enjoy the mild weather while we have it!
