WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Authorities in Delaware are looking for a man who attempted to rob a 50-year-old woman at knifepoint.

Delaware State Police says the attempted robbery happened Monday at 1:20 p.m. in the parking lot of a supermarket in Wilmington. Police say the woman was getting ready to enter her car when a man grabbed her arm, displayed a knife and demanded her purse.

The woman told the man she was going to call 911, and the suspect ran away. The suspect is believed to be between 18 and 20 years old. He was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
