PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are investigating a sword attack in the city’s Frankford section early Tuesday morning that left one person injured.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. inside a home along the 5100 block of James Street.

Authorities say a homeowner nearly had his arm severed in the attack.

Investigators believe the attack may have been fueled by a domestic dispute.

Police were searching for the attacker, who fled the scene.
