Police Search For Missing Woman In Delaware County

By Kim Glovas

TINICUM TOWNSHIP, Pa (CBS) -- Delaware County law enforcement officials are asking for the public's help in finding a woman who has been missing for a week.

Debra Miller, 38, of Essington left her home on Sunday, November 18th to go to the grocery store, but hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Tinicum Township police do not suspect foul play, but search teams combed the woods around Miller's home on Sunday.

"We've assembled some search parties to eliminate that she went missing in our township," says Police Chief Steve Edmiston. "We're going to search some wooded areas, we have some dogs that are going to search the area."

Miller is described as white female, 5-feet-8 inches tall, weighing 130-pounds with long black hair and brown eyes. Miller's brother says it is unlike her to disappear like this.

Anyone with information on Debra Miller is urged to call police at 610-521-3830.
