PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Nothing brings out the holiday spirit like model trains!

There were a lot of smiles Saturday at Reading Terminal Market’s Holiday Railroad model train display in Center City, as folks re-lived their childhood memories:

“Oh, every little boy got a train set when they were seven years old,” this man tells KYW Newsradio. “I remember getting mine and I remember my father telling me about him getting his.”

“It reminds everybody of being a little kid,” this man adds.

The large crowds seemed to be very pleased by the interactive display.

“They’re pressing their noses up, the adults are just as interested in pressing the buttons as the children are,” this woman said.

The model train display will be up-and-running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day until New Year’s Eve, except Christmas Day.
