PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two children were transported to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Wednesday night after a fire broke out at a home in the city’s Belmont neighborhood.
It happened at about 10:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Reno Street. Police say a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
The fire was not structural. According to investigators, material inside the home caught fire.
The Fire Marshal is investigating.
