MILFORD, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police have arrested a Georgia man they say had 40 pairs of counterfeit sneakers in his car.
Troopers stopped a car for speeding about 3:30 p.m. Monday on Coastal Highway in Milford. Authorities say a trooper saw several boxes in the vehicle and was given permission to search it.
Police say the trooper found 40 pairs of Nike Air Force Ones with the same serial number. Troopers say the driver could not provide receipts.
Thirty-year-old Eric J. Loatman of Atlanta has been charged with trademark counterfeiting and cited for speeding.
