PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – At least three people were hurt Saturday evening during a fire in a North Philadelphia rowhome.
The fire broke out in a second floor bedroom around 8:30 p.m. on the 2500 block of North 17th Street.
A 24-year-old woman suffered burns to her neck and stomach and was taken to Temple Hospital. A woman in her mid-to-late 60′s and a man in his mid-to-late 20′s were taken to the same hospital with smoke inhalation.
At least five people, including three children, were said to be in the house when the fire broke out.
There’s still no word what caused the fire. It was placed under control about 20 minutes after it started.
