TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Trenton authorities say two people were killed and four others were wounded during a violent night in New Jersey’s capital city.
The two deaths occurred during separate incidents late Friday. Authorities say a man who apparently had been stabbed was found outside a home and later died at a hospital, while a woman was shot “multiple times” at a residence during an apparent domestic disturbance.
The slayings raised the city’s 2012 homicide count to 22.
The four shooting victims were all wounded in separate overnight incidents that remained under investigation Saturday afternoon, including one that appeared to be a home invasion.
Authorities say the various injuries suffered by the victims did not appear to be life-threatening.
