PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a robbery suspect who stole a 17-year-old female’s phone while in the subway.

According to police, around 8:18 p.m. on Nov. 5, the suspect snatched the victim’s phone after she entered the Broad Street Line Train at Broad Street and Olney Avenue.

Police say the victim chased after the suspect but lost sight of him.

The suspect has been described as a black male with a light complexion wearing black pants and an orange sweatshirt.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or leave a tip at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
