PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Three simultaneous donation drives are being held in the Philadelphia area for victims of Hurricane Sandy this Saturday, Nov. 17th.
The drives will benefit numerous New Jersey relief organizations, including the Salvation Army and United Way of Monmouth County. Recommended items include non-perishable food items and beverages, blankets, adult and children’s clothing, batteries, portable radios, cleaning materials, baby supplies, coloring books, cards, health and beauty products, pet food and bedding.
Donations will be collected at three facilities in the Delaware Valley:

King and Essex Streets
Gloucester, NJ
Wilmington
Chase Center on the Riverfront

In addition to the collection drives, financial contributions can also be made through www.SandyNJReliefFund.org, a relief site established by Mary Pat Christie, First Lady of New Jersey.
