Police: Store Owner Fatally Shoots Would-Be Robber In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A store owner turned the tables on a would-be bandit in North Philadelphia Wednesday night.

Police say the owner of a variety store in the 900 block of West Somerset Street shot and killed a suspect who tried to rob him.

Investigators say the store owner shot the man when he kicked in the door of his security booth.

The store owner was not injured.
