Police Investigating Content Of Phone Stolen From Radnor High School Student

By Brad Segall, Jericka Duncan and Todd Quinones

RADNOR TWP., Pa. (CBS)
– Radnor police say that within the next 24 hours they should know for sure if private and possibly explicit images were sent to others from a Radnor High School student's cell phone.

School officials called police to the school Wednesday morning because of a fight. Police later determined the fight was over a cell phone that was allegedly stolen from a student at the school this week, and that there were rumors circulating that someone may have posted sexually explicit photos or videos taken from the phone on social media.

Police say they are focusing on four or five students and search warrants have been executed.

"There are several points to the cell phone which we're going to look into. There's pictures, there's possibly videos; we've yet to determine specifically how much information the smartphone contained," says Police Lieutenant Chris Flanagan.

Flanagan says they will gather the information they need then huddle with the Delaware County DA's Office to determine whether any charges will be filed in connection with the investigation.
