CHESTERBROOK, Pa. (CBS) – A fertility clinic in Chester County is offering free second opinions until November 16th.

Fertility treatment is expensive admits Dr. Isaac Sasson, of the Shady Grove Fertility Center in Chesterbrook, and he wants to make sure couples get the care they need without going bankrupt.

He claims infertility is a common problem affecting one in 6 couples.

“40 percent of all diagnoses are related to a male factor, 40 percent to a female factor, 10 percent unexplained and 10percent combined both male and female,” says Dr. Sasson.

He says the most common problem is age. As women put off having children longer, more of them have problems conceiving.

He adds there are many different treatments and procedures and seeking a second opinion can often give couples a new perspective.
