OCEAN CITY, N.J. (CBS) – OCNJCare is asking for assistance in order to continue helping Ocean City residents affected by Superstorm Sandy.
OCNJCare is a volunteer organization that was formed hours after Sandy subsided. The organization has already helped hundreds of residents with clothing, food and shelter.
Drew Fasy, chairperson, says the most pressing need is cash donations to assist residents who need temporary housing and funds to cover disaster related injuries.
The organization has partnered with many organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, Ecumenical Council, School District, Ocean City PTA, Board of Realtors and many more.
