PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office announced charges against a retired police officer who they say attempting to lure an 8-year-old girl in October.

Police say 72-year-old Leo Haley has been charged with unlawful restraint, terrorist threats, luring a child into a motor vehicle and harassment. (See related story)

Officials say Haley is a registered sex offender and is currently on probation for a child pornography conviction in Delaware County from 2011.

Haley was arraigned and Thursday night. Bail was set at $1 million and a preliminary hearing has been schedule d for November 27th.
