Two Dead After Likely Weather-Related Crash In Burlington County

By Al Novack

BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) - Investigators believe weather played a role in a deadly crash in Burlington County Wednesday night that killed two people.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 9 p.m. when a driver lost control of his car and crashed into a van along U.S. Route 206 in Tabernacle, New Jersey.

The two people in the car, a husband and wife, both died of injuries suffered in the accident.

New Jersey State Police say slippery road conditions resulting from snow and rain may have contributed to the crash.

The driver of the van was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
