PENNDEL, Pa. (CBS) – One person was killed in a two-car crash in Bucks County early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at about 5 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Route 1 in Penndel near Maple Avenue.
According to investigators, one person was killed in the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately known. There were no immediate reports of any other injuries.
Traffic was shut down for several hours on Route 1 between Business Route 1 and Route 213 as crews cleared the scene. It has since reopened.
The cause of the deadly crash remains under investigation.
