Bensalem Man Arrested For Assaulting Infant Son

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) – A Bensalem man has been charged with assaulting his infant son.

Kyle Hinkle, a 25-year-old from the 1500 block of Virginia Avenue, was arrested after Aria Torresdale Hospital reported a 3-month-old baby boy in the ER with head trauma.

Hinkle later admitted to police that when he was unable to stop the infant from crying, he shook the child multiple times.

The baby was transported to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, where he is expected to survive.

Hinkle was arrested and charged with Felony Aggravated Assault, Felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child and related charges.
