Mother/Son Duo Arrested In Del. After Trail Of Spoils Leads Police To Them

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – A mother/son duo was arrested for robbery in Wilmington after a trail of spoils led police directly to them.

On Oct. 30 around 9:18 a.m., police were called to the Pepsi Company Bottling Plant at 3501 Gov. Printz Boulevard in Wilmington for a robbery in progress. When they arrived, they located a hole in the fence surrounding the plant's storage yard, and a trail of various Pepsi products leading from the yard out to the nearby Eastlawn playground.

The trail of Pepsi goods ended at a silver Audi A6, where officers located Teeo Morton, 23, and his mother, Katie Morton, 48, both from the 200 block of E 35th Street in Wilmington. The Audi, which was registered to Katie Morton, also contained various Pepsi products.

The pair was arrested by Wilmington police without incident and charged with Burglary 3rd, Theft, and Conspiracy 2nd. Teeo was also charged with Criminal Impersonation after providing officers a false name.
