TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — The Christie administration has struck an agreement with Lowe’s Companies to give state and local governments in New Jersey a discount on emergency repair supplies and equipment.

State and local officials will be able to receive 5 percent off more than 40,000 products within a few days.

The Treasury Department says the discount will remain in effect through Nov. 30.
