PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will close two Interstate 95 ramps in Philadelphia on Monday morning in advance of flooding from Hurricane Sandy.
The Broad Street (Route 611) ramp to Interstate 95 south and the Interstate 95 North ramp to Broad Street will be shut down at 4 a.m.
During the closure, northbound I-95 motorists wanting to access Broad Street will exit at Packer Avenue and follow Front Street, Pattison Avenue, to Broad Street.
Southbound Broad Street motorists wanting to access southbound I-95 will be detoured over Pattison Avenue, Front Street and follow to the ramp for I-95 South.
PennDOT says commuters can log on to www.511pa.com or call 5-1-1 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways before heading out.
