PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One of Philadelphia’s landmark restaurants is taking a decidedly modern approach to menus.
Le Bec Fin, which recently re-opened under the helm of Nicholas Fanucci, will be offering diners iPad menus in place of the traditional paper ones. The restaurant confirmed that the change is set to take place Friday.
While several other Philadelphia restaurants already offer iPad wine lists, Le Bec Fin is poised to become the first to offer a digitalized menu. Patrons who don’t want to use the iPad can request paper.
In addition to the new ordering method, Fanucci is switching up the options on the menu. Previously, diners were offered a prix fixe $150 dinner or a $55 lunch menu; now, they’ll also be able to select a four-course $85 dinner and a $39 three-course lunch.
