FOLCROFT, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Folcroft, Delaware County are investigating the 3rd arson fire involving a car in less than four weeks.

The latest fire involved a car parked in the 700 block of Bennington Street. The fire was discovered just before 4 am this morning and quickly declared under control but not before the car was heavily damaged. no injuries were reported.

On October 1st, police and fire officials reported two arson fires two blocks apart in Folcroft. One car was found to have been torched just after midnight that day in the 900-block of Delview Drive and a second car was set on fire around 1 am in the 700 block of Taylor Drive.

Both cars had been parked beneath decks attached to homes. One of the wooden decks above caught fire and flames spread to the home.
