By Merrill Reese:  My Eagles outlook brightened Sunday after a day of watching other games.

The Giants won but Eli Manning threw two awful interceptions, but I guess having won two Super Bowls absolves him from criticism.  If Michael Vick had thrown them, critics would scream that he can’t read defenses.

The Redskins fumbled away their chances and their defense is plain awful.  The Cowboys?  Well they were lucky just to scrape by Carolina.

I’m convinced the Eagles chances of winning the NFC East are as good as anyone’s.
