2 Dead After Motorcycle And Bicycle Collide In South Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say two men are dead as the result of a collision between a motorcycle and bicycle Sunday night in South Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at 9th and Oregon Avenue.

Investigators say a motorcyclist traveling east on Oregon Ave. struck a bicyclist crossing the roadway.

The 52-year-old bicyclist was dead on arrival at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

The motorcyclist died several hours later, according to investigators.
