Philadelphia Woman Grazed By Bullet While Sleeping

PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) — A Philadelphia woman is lucky to be alive after being grazed by a stray bullet while she was in bed sleeping in her Frankford home.

The 61-year-old victim was shot in the head by a bullet fired nearly a block away from her home on the 5300 block of Charles Street.

Police said that around 2 a.m. Friday, two men were robbing a 28-year-old woman when one of the suspect's guns went off.

The bullet traveled through the victim's walls and furniture and struck the sleeping woman in the head. She is being treated at a hospital for a graze wound is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspects were arrested. Police said they found evidence from at least four other robberies that occurred late Thursday night and Friday morning.
