PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia’s Union Transfer already has craft brews and live music; now, it’s also gone vegan.
Starting October 19th, HipCityVeg is taking over the concession stand at the Spring Garden venue, providing healthy, vegan fast food to the music-loving masses. The move was announced yesterday on Philly music promotions company R5 Productions’ Facebook page.
Since opening this past spring, HipCityVeg has had surprising success—lines were often down the block, and the eatery’s Arugula Taco Salad was rated the best in the city by Philadelphia magazine.
