NEW CASTLE, DE (CBS) – Police in New Castle County, Delaware are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning that left three people injured.
Police were called to the 200 block of Morgan Crossing Apartments just after 12 a.m. for a report of a large fight with gunshots. Officers arrived on scene to find a 35-year-old male lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body.
The second victim, a 23-year-old male, flagged down an officer near Malvern Avenue and Chestnut Hill Road with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
The third victim, a 22-year-old male, was found inside of his vehicle with an injury to his head.
All three victims were treated at Christiana Hospital. The 22-year-old was released.
