PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The musical group Under the Streetlamp will perform at the Merriam Theater October 24th.
Matt Wolf, the vice president of programming at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, says the four singers and seven backup musicians will dazzle you with favorites.
“The Beach Boys, the Drifters, The Beatles, even the British Invasion. These are old favorites that everybody knows,” Wolf says.
He also says it’s great that everyone knows the music, because this is a family-friendly evening.
“It’s an evening you can take the entire family to. It’s a theatrical type of concert, there are lights and there’s sound, wonderful singing, and one of the Under the Streetlamp guys does a tap dance because his dad was a tap dancer.”
The show begins at 8 p.m. For more info, visit: www.kimmelcenter.org
