ANNAPOLIS, Md. (CBS) — The two most dynamic weeks of the year in nearby Annapolis, Md. are last week’s sailboat show and this week’s power boat show.
Either one can put you on a track to live the fantasy.
“The Caribbean, the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific…” recites Scott Farquharson.
Can’t spring for a quarter-million-dollar-plus yacht but still want the thrill of sailing in exotic places? Farquharson and his Dream Yacht Charter can put you on a yacht in any of those fantasy locations for about $1,000 per person, per week.

And if you don’t know how to sail? “You can hire a captain — and a chef,” says Farquharson.
Jim Veiga, whose Sail Caribe specializes in Caribbean charters, says it’s simple.
“All it takes is time and money,” he says.
Sand, sea, and sun — it’s a dream that can easily become reality. And a boat show can be the first step.
