PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have signed LB Jason Williams to the active roster and released LB Adrian Moten.
Moten was signed last week after the Eagles released linebacker Brian Rolle. Moten’s duties were primarily on special teams.
Entering his fourth NFL season, the 26 year old Williams (6-1, 244) has played in 28 games with Carolina (2010-12) and Dallas (2009-10), posting 36 tackles, 28 special teams tackles, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
