PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating a stabbing that took place on the City Hall subway platform late Saturday night.

According to police, a 31-year-old black male was stabbed in the chest and the abdomen during a robbery attempt at about 11:56 p.m.

The victim was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital and placed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
