PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Old City Seaport Festival kicked off Friday evening on the Delaware Waterfront with a parade of tall ships.
A parade of tall ships floated up the Delaware River to mark the beginning of the Old City Seaport Festival.
Linnea Carson of Boston is here with her family. She says this festival is smaller than the one Boston hosted this summer.
“Boston definitely had more ships but we are definitely closer, so I’m excited to have an opportunity to take some great pictures while I’m here,” Carson says.
The Gazela, Philadelphia’s own tall ship was the first in the line up, followed by ships big and small.
