Victim's iPhone Stolen During Shooting In Summerdale

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man is in critical condition after being shot in Northeast Philadelphia early Friday morning. Investigators say the suspect made off with the victim's iPhone.

The shooting happened at about 12:45 a.m. in the 5200 block of Roosevelt Boulevard in the city's Summerdale section.

According to investigators, the 23-year-old victim was out back of his row home when he was approached by the suspect.

Police say the suspect shot the victim once in the stomach before stealing his iPhone and running away from the scene.

The victim was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

The search for the gunman is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
