CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) – Authorities in Cherry Hill have made an arrest in a hit-and-run accident Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened a little before 2 p.m. on Route 38 westbound near Mall Drive. Police say before fleeing the scene, a white-colored vehicle, possibly a Ford, struck a man who was crossing Route 38.
The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital with severe head and body trauma, police said.
Earlier on Thursday, the only description of the driver police had was that it was a man. Police are now questioning a Camden driver.
