PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A well known TV evangelist addressed thousands of Christians at a spiritual rally on Independence Mall Saturday afternoon.

“Praise the lord. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ,” said Pat Robertson.

Robertson got a warm welcome from most of those in attendance at America for Jesus.

There was one loud protester however that interrupted the TV evangelist a couple of times.

“You don’t start a rant when people are praying so keep your mouth shut! Please,” Robertson said (crowd cheers).

Robertson said it’s not a political rally, but a spiritual one.

“And together we will rebuild this nation under the cross of Jesus Christ that is what we are here to do and when we pray together we are asserting to the whole world this land belongs to God almighty,” said Robertson (crowd cheers).
